Pantoprazole 40 mg, domperidone 30 mg
Indications/Uses
Management of GERD; non-ulcer dyspepsia, gastric or duodenal ulcer, dyspepsia, bloating, fullness, belching, NSAID-induced dyspepsia.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take before breakfast. Swallow whole, do not chew cap.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to dimenhydrinate or related compd. Patients w/ impairment. Pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
Pantoprazole: Long-term therapy may lead to bacterial overgrowth in GI. Not recommended in childn <12 yr. Domperidone: Galactorrhoea (females) & gynaecomastia (males).
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, drowsiness, flatulence, dry mouth.
Drug Interactions
Pantoprazole: May interfere absorption of ketoconazole, ampicillin esters & Fe salts. Domperidone: Inhibited antidyspeptic effect w/ anticholinergics. May suppress peripheral effects of dopaminergic agonist. May influence absorption of drugs w/ SR or EC formulations. May interfere w/ other hypoprolactinaemic agents & some diagnostic tests. Reduced bioavailability w/ antacids & antisecretory agents.
